I never forget bluffers who accuse me of not being able to think for myself especially when multiple posters out them as copy and paste merchants from other posters. No sign of that new Laois poster now as well. What are the odds. Be sure to login as him now to respond to this. Good lad.

Regime is a very appropriate term used

How do we see the Armagh game going? We certainly shouldn't need any motivation playing them after the way our championship campaign ended last year. Any word on Ciaran Thompson and Ryan McHugh? It would be good to go there with as strong a squad as possible.

Saturday will be another test of this new set up. The first two away games were quite flat bar a good 1st half against Monaghan.

We will be entering the Lions Den in Armagh on Saturday night. They are under pressure for points as well and have a huge home support.

I would be ecstatic even we could even take a point out of it.

Gonna be tough in Armagh. They will really be targeting us for 2 points so that they can secure safety and maybe even start to turn their thoughts to Championship. And you know what, maybe if Mayo win this weekend they might do the same. Remember her last year? They qualified for the final, got hammered and never recovered. I'd say they won't want to be in it this year given their draw in Conaught and maybe they'll send a weak team up to us in Ballybofey? Or is that just wishful thinking? The league final is the first weekend of April and Mayo play Roscommon in the Championship the very next weekend.

I'd say there's more chance of getting some information from the Cremlin than finding out about Thompson and McHugh. One thing I saw last week.. Charles Mcguinness was with the extended squad in Convoy on Sunday morning ahead of the game in letterkenny

McHugh Snr. said on radio at the Tyrone game that Ryan would be out for a while with a hip injury.

Thompson had a hamstring tear against Down in the McKenna Cup so hopefully shouldn't be too far away. He's a huge miss.

Hi all, a curious onlooker. Was lacey in a fulltime paid role?

Not sure if it was full time as he lectures in LYIT by day. But I'm sure it was paid? As it should be.

Im not sure, but from my reading of it, all the figures for everything would have been in the documents/accounts that Lacey et al wanted published, but the County Board refused. If Karl was in a paid role, whatever he was getting, he was happy to see it in the public domain.

Brian o Donaill was on our county board for quite a number of years recently.

Yes tonight will be huge.

It's a bit mad that we got 3 points from non Ulster teams, and should've had 4 points; yet against the 2 Ulster teams we capitulated. I think we have lost our mystique with fellow Ulster teams, and they now see us as being a team they can bully. The only bright note for tonight is that Armagh seem to be missing a good few, and I don't think their replacements are near as strong. Touch wood.

I have no idea what the issues were between Lacey and the Co Board and I can understand the other 40 coaches standing down to show solidarity with their leader and put pressure on the Co Board. However I think Lacey should have done all in his power to keep the coaches in place notwithstanding his own problems with the Board.

Thought he was strict enough generally, but genuinely, as a neutral with no axe to grind against either county, I thought Armagh deserved their win.

Had Donegal played like they did 2nd half in the 1st half half they would have won tonight. Still plenty of fight in that Donegal team or be it lacking bite up front.

Donegal want to copy what Mayo did with Aiden O Shea, put Hugh McFadden in the square and leave him there for full
game, Hugh hasnt the legs for out field play anymore just like Murphy for the last few years. He is a good fielder and can score a few. Leave him at full forward and that keeps goalkeeper full back and sweeper back in their own half and leave room for Donegal to move ball forward quickly with the few long balls into Hugh.
