Leitrim won't get an easier win than that all year. We are going no where fast apart from across the pitch. Just when you think we have turned a corner…….

There isnt a hope in hell we will beat Wicklow next weekend. It was going to be tough enough anyway but after that performance yesterday, cannot see how we could pick it up enough to challenge Wicklow, let alone bear them.

Extremely poor performance all round, bar Peter Lynn who was solid and Joe Hagan, I thought, as he actually tried to take his man or take a shot on.

Leitrim stormed ahead early in the 2nd half which prevented us getting to grips and trying to utilise the wind in our favour, but overall play was very poor, looked like we had run out of options early on, too many turnovers and a lack of ideas.

Very disappointed with the management, first substitution made on the 52nd minute and the rest i believe within the last 10 minutes. Wholesale changes should have been made after the first 4 minutes of the second half when it was clear we were going to need something completely different to turn the game around.

While a promotion would have been huge, it probably would have come a bit too soon for this team, but a big let down to see a performance like that. Hopefully whatever happens players can learn from results like this and London and that theres another lever or two within a lot of players within that squad to step up to.

I wouldn't be too sure that it will be a cake walk next week for Wicklow. True, yesterday's was a good performance, some defenders back and starting to tick but you need look no further than our "performance" against Antrim to see a chink in our armour. We are struggling to get back to back performances together and still struggling to get back to where we were last summer with the fair Leinster rum and TC semi, ( which we threw away) , but seem to be getting there. Having said that, we still are a work in progress. I am expecting a tough battle and hopefully it goes our way, but we have never had anything easy against Longford.

I was down at it very good game ,good few minors from the Leinster winning team on it 4 or 5

Wouldn't be surprised if we get the win on Sunday but London beat Antrim and go up on head to head. In that case we need Leitrim to do us a favour against Carlow, which they are more than capable of doing. Whether we are remotely ready for promotion yet is another matter.
