The fixtures for Div 2 relegation are strange. Just say for instance all teams beat Ballymahon and Killashee lose one and win one against the Killoe teams. Killoe v Killoe in last game can conjure up whatever result is best for score diff to survive? Surely they should have met in the first game. That is a competition fault, not Killoes.
Its the same as the rule naming 19 for 1st team, another 19 for 2nd team, and remainder for 3rd team. Players can move up from the remainder, but then cannot move back down. Killoe did not invent their own rule, and contrary to opinion, haven't got as much influence on the county board as some might think. Killoe did not want any of the scenarios that have played out this year and strongly opposed them, but it wasn't their call. This was all agreed to by the clubs, if your delegate is sleepy, challenge them.
I still think Killoe Green and Ballymahon will go down.

What is happening with Ballymahon, played in the senior championship 3 years ago and now heading to play division 3 football next year with the only other sole junior club Legan. Worrying for Longford football as they are one of the biggest towns in the county!
Ballymahon are the last south longford club to win a senior championship.

I could be wrong but I think Killoe looked to keep their 3rd string in Div 3 this year but were turned down. I don't know why anyone would be blaming Killoe. They are playing as per the rule book, it's not their fault that Ballymahon are shocking. Should they go out and just throw games?!! That would be breaking the rules!!! This was in the pipeline for a long time. They were amalgamated with Kenagh and I think Carrick at some stage. And from what I've being told, Ballymahon were in the minority of supplying good footballers to those teams. They are actually lucky Forgney no longer field, as their 2 best players are Forgney men!

The executive has more votes than the clubs concerned

How so? Each club has how many votes? How many members of exec? Break this down into numbers for me. If its true it could only happen if clubs voted it in. Last time i was involved, clubs held the numbers. That cannot be changed without vote.

1 club, 1 vote. It used to be 1 for each delegate but that was changed a few years ago

This is news to me. Each club used to have 2 votes. 22 clubs = 44 votes. 19 votes for Co.Board, may be more now with new positions. This couldn't change without a vote, so you're telling me the clubs voted to give the Co.Board ALL the power? I would love to see the breakdown of that vote.

Was at the dromard connollys game last night first half Sean connollys were brilliant and looked like they could cause a shock daire Duggan was brilliant but second half dromard completely destroyed them and connollys could not seem to get their hands on the ball second half showed the difference in quality between intermediate and senior teams

Dromard had all bar Masterson I believe connollys missing dan Reynolds Evan Tully and had a few other injuries Duggan and Dessie played but was told Dessie isn't fully back from injury according to a Connolly man

I believe that Ardagh/Moydow could not field a team

I was told it was because they don't want to play dromard before they play them in championship
