Was John Murphy not originally from Cork, though he has been in Longford over 40 years it makes him more Longford than Cork at this stage :-)
Mick McCormack is a Longford man, living in Monaghan.
Was Eugene McGee ever involved with Longford senior team, I only ever heard of him being involved with the minors?
I heard a story in the 90's where a manager/trainer stepped down and the county board chairman and someone else had to step in. Maybe that was during Tom Donoghue's term as that looks short.
What about county under 21 managers?

Having Fermanagh next before the re-fixed Westmeath game might work out better for Longford. Need to go into that Westmeath game with more confidence than we have at the moment, so hopefully we can pull something from the Fermanagh game at home and go from there.
