Replying To Leitrimdivide:  "What are our chances this evening in under 20s? Very few reports from the camp and we seem to be coming in under the radar. Exactly how brenda guckian would want it. Can he pull off yet another shock victory when odds stacked against him?"
What was the last big shock he pulled off?

I begin to get very nervous about this game, and wonder why on earth NY aren't pushed around all the provincial championships to lighten the burden."
NY very good this year, feeling quite confident. Don't be surprised if there's a surprise win here this weekend. Well, my money is on NY anyway for this one!

I think county board need a long hard look at themselves and their recruiting policy for coaches at underage level, our young fellas are being ill served at the minute imo with coaching."
agreed, they lost in in the last 10 mins. Were looking good until then.

The last big shock he pulled off was getting the U-20 job.

Same thing should have applied for us, why didn't our manager or county board kick up about our u20s playing a few days before the Seniors and demand last night's game be switched?

Have a look at New York gaa Instagram page, they have started naming 8 payers on panel each day . So currently 16 of the panel have been named. They'll name another 8 today and maybe few extras tomorrow.

Very disappointed with county board and senior management preventing one of our most promising players playing with the U20s last night. We are not Mayo or Galway and need our best players on the pitch. I m a strong supporter of Moran and Co. but yesterday's decision was a selfish one and not in the best interest of Leitrim football in my humble opinion.

The u20 game could have been played last weekend had our county board or management kicked up about it to the Connacht council like Derry did with theirs, but I'm sure Galway would have not liked this either.

I think that we want too much patting on the head and don't fight our corner enough. We get walked over.

Him getting the job was no big shock as that's where the problem is. TK will keep bringing him back in at any age group just too keep him and a few more of the lads in jobs. We will never achieve anything at under age level while the county board lets this continue

It was a poor decision by Moran... ultimately it was his. A poor decision is a long line of poor ones. Let's not beat around the bush... this year has been another failure and let's hope we don't get bet in Gaelic Park as that will surely be the icing on the cake and the end of the road for this management team surely. I hope to god it doesn't happen for everyone's sake as it will put Leitrim back years.

Put us back years?? From our such advanced starting point? We are a bottom half division four team. Dont think we can go much further "back" tbh. Its not as if we are on the verge of a major breakthrough. If they lose it might actually make the powers that be sit up and do something.

Are you being genuine in this?

My guess you are hoping we get bet, based on your previous comments.

Come on Leitrim

We'll agree to disagree... we were more than capable of promotion this year and last year so yes it will put us back years if lads decide it's not worth it going forward. Bad luck in 2020 and poor decision making on the line hasn't helped. God knows we operate off a small enough pool of players as it is and need every lad we can get.

Whatever you think Joe....we know you're a Moran fanboy and he can do no wrong in your eyes.

I agree that unless we are lucky enough to get to a Connacht final and be reasonably competitive in it i.e not defeated by 10 pts or more or get to a Tailteann cup final and win it, then it will be a failure of a season.

Very disappointed that moran pulled off Barry mcnulty last night. Very selfish and self serving act.

Could he not play both games?? Were lads not playing college football during week and county at weekend earlier in the year???

And he has as much chance getting injured at training as he would playing or at least he should have if training is done at correct intensity.

Not allowed play both games. Directive that has come in to prevent burnout in player's

I'm well aware of that. That was my point!!! Why arent they allowed play both, as they were doing it earlier in the year.
GAA talking out of both sides of their mouth again. Burnout wasn't an issue seemingly in January and February as lads could play three games a week in cases. Its a joke.
