Knowledge has been chasing you your whole life but you have always been faster.

If you are referring to Dromod and Drumsna they are villages not towns. And if you say that towns and villages are the same then I suggest a primary school geography book is required in your home.

Clare 1/10. That's put 50 on Clare win 5 euro profit.
Leitrim 6/1 That put 50 on Leitrim win 30 euro profit

Leitrim to lose by 6pts or less. Even That put on 10 your will have 10 profit.

To me this is ridiculous odds.
Paddy Power are not giving a hope of winning and losing by 7 points or more

While I am not saying every club should go on their own you have to respect the commitment Annaduff have to ensuring that every young player coming through only ever has to wear one jersey. THEIR OWN"
Dogged Duffers will not yield

Lovely post, thanks for your feedback. Thank you for your suggestion, can I get the loan of the book off you?

Midfield (Barry and Keith) were excellent but we were clueless up front. We ran the ball away too much instead of kicking it in quickly.

That was a tough watch. Not sure where to start.
Serious daylight between Div 3 and 4.
It was clear Clare have played at a higher level and also had a game to get used to these rules.
We had plenty of effort but a lack of taking on a player. We did try a few 2 pointers but we were unlucky with these and you always felt we badly needed more than Clare. (We were definitely done out of one from McNulty first half that was only registered as1pt). Another hit the post. We badly needed the confidence that comes with those.
Clare did well with the bunched defending and the lads hadn't the time to wind up for a big score.
I never saw as much uncontested passing over and back sideways. We need more running off the shoulder or taking on the man in the final third. We do plenty of it coming out of defense or in the middle after winning kick outs. We won great ball a couple of times and then gave it away and in div 3 you get punished with a score the other end.
Ikem was great for Clare taking on /drawing in players and fairly buried his goal when we were making a spirited 2nd half comeback. McMahon and Sexton nailed 2 pointers.

McNulty and Keegan did well midfield.
The new lads did well who came in 2nd half. Hard to be critical as half the team are new and the game itself is like a tree with ash die back.
This will be a steep learning curve of a year.
Keep at it and hope more men back themselves to take a player or 2 on and have a pop at the posts.

Do you gamble much? The bookie always has the Mercedes while the punter has the bicycle.
Multiplication is a tricky enough art at times.

I don't know think we would have fared a lot better with last year's team, always was a massive ask of this mostly new team on their first competitive outing. Any other team we could target for a result based on form?

I went down fearing the worst but hoping for the best. Unfortunately we were outclassed by a physically stronger, more experienced and better side who are used to playing at a higher level. Whilst we done very well at midfield our very inexperienced defence was torn apart and our forwards made little headway against a well organised organised Clare defence . Need to be trying for more 2 pointers too if we're going to get any results in this division, we'll need plenty of them. No shortage of effort from everyone but it's a steep learning curve and we're going to have to learn fast starting next weekend against Laois which already looks like a must win.

Not surprised with the Clare result, new management, more or less a new team, the reality is it wouldn't be much better if we had all the players we had last year. Clare are a very good side and second favourite for promotion in my eyes. It's going to be a very tough year. Hopefully there is a big crowd in ballinamore next weekend.
