Tomo came on and scored a vital goal in the 68th minute against Down, and got Galway into the All Ireland QF.

Finnerty and Shane Walsh missed vital frees in every game, they're not consistent, especially when it comes to the big days.

Padraig Joyce said himself said Walsh and Finnerty "missed about 2-10" between them in one match, Dessie and Cooke are badly needed.

Finnerty and Walsh scored 1-13 between them in that game v Down.

Walsh kicked a 2pt free into wind with his bad foot while carrying an injury

Finnerty put to bed in last couple years that hes not the man for big games

Only impact I remember is the point against Dublin when he kicked a point other than that struggling to remember an impact and games I have seen for SK he has not offerred anything. Even his 2 freees the last day I knew and so did majority in stadium that he was never going to kick them"
The fact he even took them on says a lot I think.

Says alot whilst I get your point about having the courage to go for it I would argue he should known his limits and tried to work the 2nd one especially. In the end it was a key factor in SK yet again falling short. Would the goalie or Finnerty have been a better option? I know its all hindsight but in a 2 point loss these are the margins especially when ya see Dessie slot is 2 pointer.

So what's your point exactly?
That Cooke and Dessie are more consistent than Walsh or Finnerty is it?
