Replying To Galway456:  "Mightnt be too bad since he walked off the pitch, shanes hammer looked worse in the sense he was fairly limping"
Is it Walsh's hamstring or ankle? I thought ankle.

I don't know why. Must be my default setting, I suppose.

Was it not Shane's ankle though rather than the hammer?

3pm this Saturday for hurling is a bad time

1.15 for Donegal yesterday was too early

6pm on a Saturday is too late.

When should the game be played ?? There'd be uproar if double header was 2 & 4 on Saturday

Unless you are heading to cleggan I'd also suggest checking the route you are taking if it's over 4 hrs"
It's an All Ireland semi final I couldn't care less what time I get home the next day!!

I think this will be the pick of the 2 semi finals. Looking forward to seeing who comes out on top.

Think Galway will tbh.

no one is saying it should be a double header. its about having the throw ins at a reasonable time to get younger kids home in time for bed

anyways 4pm is great. Gaillimh Abú

For anyone who is only half way home after passing by Ballinasloe I will leave it to your genius to poor a quicker route.I will be looking forward your solution.

Looking back on this u20 team now - https://www.rte.ie/sport/gaa/2020/1219/1185445-galway-are-crowned-all-ireland-u20-champions/

The whole full back line is now the senior full back line. Cathal Sweeney, Matthew Tierney, Tomo Culhane, Cian Hernon, Paul Kelly and Patrick Kelly all started that day.

Interesting to look at at the u21 final between these from 2017. Both teams had players who played last Saturday who are now or have been regular starters at senior. Half of that Galway team went on to be decent senior intercounty footballers.

Could Cian Hernon push for his clubmates place?

Comor Flaherty too.. Not to many Dubs. What happened Ciaran Archer? He was a serious prospect. Also I'm remined about Lee Gannon who broke through to seniors . Is he injured? If so he was a loss to the Dubs on Saturday.

Absolutely. Only right we got the the 4pm Sunday slot. We were brought up to Dublin for the 2018 and 2022 semi finals and on Saturday night for late throw in games on the Saturday. Grand if you are Ballinasloe or east Galway. But if you are Clifden, Leitir Mór or Oilean Arann a different ball game.

One man who doesn't get half enough credit is Donal O'Flatharta. All Ireland Minor Finals in 2018 and 2019 and an U20 win in 2020 but more importantly developed a huge amount of players who came through to play senior

As I said unless your heading to cleggan.

Waiting for your solution for what time the games should have been played Saturday.

Lots of people work Saturday or after a week work having to be on the road early is a pain too.

If one of those games was at 2 saturday you'd prob need to up at 6am not ideal for lots either

Totally agree.

Absolutely, and hes still working away with the development squad in the background (no better man)

Yes he deserves credit as do all selectors etc. Is he involved with Galway seniors? I do think he was with "development squad" for FBD at start of year in Bekan but does he be with PJ & Co at training or what his is remit. I am just interested in the dynamics of it. But absolutley great to see a strong cohort developing into importasnt players for seniors who are in last 4.
