Kevin Lally will have the faith to put Fintan there and rejig. A man with 2.15 from play shouldnt be at 6, in my opinion, even though hes a natural there at club

Going back to 2017 & early 2018 many Limerick posters said the same about one Gearoid Hegarty. When he was a minor he didn't even make the panel in his final year. John Keily called him into the panel in 2017. He had played half back in the 2015 All Ireland winning team but was with the Limerick footballers in 2015 & 2016.

Very true but that's what makes Limerick so good is that they have both. It's a very physical sport and you need size and strength by the ton or you'll just get pushed around by these lads.

I'm thankful I'm a GAA man and get to enjoy good games in both codes, like our footballer's epic match against Armagh yesterday. What's the point of coming on here and trying to needle people? In your opinion, the worst game of hurling might be better than the best game of hurling, but I'd doubt many would agree. A great hurling game is fantastic to watch, as is a brilliant game of football. Some people have their preference for either, but you can't seriously argue that the Leinster hurling final for example, was a more exciting match than yesterday's football. It is Hegartys skillset that sets him apart now though. Look at his first touch, point taking and goal scoring ability. He could be 6 foot 10 but if didnt have the skill set and workrate Kiely wouldnt have him near the team. Having his aerial ability is a big bonus no doubt about that. And dead right you will get grief. Are you suggesting that Galway v Kilkenny in Leinster final was better than Galway v Armagh. Not in a million years, in my opinion. Everyone is entitled to a different view . I happen to enjoy a bad game of football better than a good game of hurling. Others , you included , are the opposite. All of the county of Galway should be delighted for the footballers; great win, even though they made it difficult for themselves at times. Into an AI semi, with definitely the skills set to get to the final, even all the way. It's how they'll hold up mentally from now on that could be the influencing factor. As well, that great football victory should have the whole county buoyed up to go support the hurlers to have a good crack off Limerick in the hurling semi this weekend. Ah shtop would ya. Nothing worse than a clueless hurling snob. Leinster final about as exciting as watching paint dry. Sure half hurling matches now are short puckout, pass and a shot from 100 yards.
