Dublin Vs Kerry

Ok, this is probably the match I've most looked forward to for a year, hopefully it will be a great match.
What are your predictions and does the match really matter at this stage of the year (only 2nd match back)?

Depends on the ref really as to how much he favours Dublin..

If Kerry can play to their strengths they will win the thing with concernnnnned. However if Coach Galvin under the astute supervision of coach farrell from afar can motivate and gallivant his troops Dublin could well shock the apple cart and upset it and spill all the apple from same said cart and win the thing. Who knows?? I hope it is a good contest

Dublin have a few months more worth of training done than us so I expect the usual dublin 5/6 points win in second gear and the usual guff that we're getting closer to them and that they're not as strong now due to retirements and that they're not that far ahead and it's only the league and it'll be different when the championship comes around bla bla bla.

"I think we should stop the ref bashing here. It serves no purpose and it is usually used as a cop out."

Now who do you think said that :)

Hope Dublin continue on from last weekend and continue to give up and comings a good run

Its a glorified training game

Although with Kerry being far "more of a league team" these days they'll probably take it seriously.

Well considering the result Kerry got last week either or Kerry have been training for a few months themselves or the pubs have been open in Galway for a few months

Kerry lads haven't been training and I doubt the Galway lads were drinking during a pandemic as doing either of those things would be "irresponsible" and "wrong" , it was just a freak result the last day, a day when everything clicked for us and everything went wrong for Galway.

dubs by 5/6 in second gear.

I would hope Dublin are capable of beating the third best team from the hurling province of Munster but i think the new all Ireland champions elect might fancy themselves for this ,Kerry by 4 !

I'm expecting a good high scoring contest here with both teams going for it from the off.

I don't think the game matters all that much in the grand scheme of things really, if they meet down the road both sides will have a lot more ball played and this game will be a distant memory.

Personally I don't think this game will really define either teams season or chances of an All Ireland but I think it will matter more to Kerry. A win, which I would expect for them, would be a bit more important for their confidence against a team that they desperately want to dethrone.
It's early days I know but I just think they need the win more. Looking forward to it though and would be good if we continue to give new faces game time.

Have to agree John. After watching the top 2 teams in munster Tipp and Cork get beaten last week it brought us back to reality. However as you not play g in croker it could be closer than one might think so Dublin by 20 points. All jokes aside its hard to know what will happen but just hope it's a clean game é with good football.

This game never defines anything when it comes to Dublin and Kerry, glorified challange match in preparation for the AI.
Result either way will stand for nothing.

The assumption of a Dublin v Kerry All Ireland Final seems a bit previous .Dublin will be there. They'll walk through Leinster and there's nothing in Connacht to beat them in the semi final. Kerry though, while winning Munster handy i'd say, will have it all to do against the Ulster champions. I'd expect either Tyrone or Donegal to win Ulster and either of them would be a big challenge for Kerry.Far too much is being read into the Kerry v Galway result. The media overegging it and not for the first time.
