(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Well done Tipperary! Only the second time in 80 years the Kerry/Cork duopoly has been broken!

What a win. Congratulations Tipperary and fitting they did it on the 100 +1 anniversary of Bloody Sunday.

Too much made of Corks late smash and grab win v a Kerry team that thought they were already in the All Ireland final.

Mayo will have it all to do. A 50/50 game.

But my God it's hard to listen to Marty Morrissey.
Trying to bombard us with all he thinks he knows but doesn't know when to shut up!"
Agree. Very patronising too

This is just unreal and for the soldiers of Tipp football last 10 years or more just reward. Hard luck on Cork who have nothing to show for that great victory over Kerry but today is our day and the Republic of Cork are always gracious in defeat as also winners. Hon Tipp!!

Not going to lie I was a bit emotional at the final whistle . Very fitting that they won"
good, i was not the only one, it can be very rare for the underdog that all your big men to shine on your big day as they did today for tipp, could be a repeat of that minor final v dublin

What a day! Congratulations to all the good football people in Tipp. They're a small group but the work they put in is unreal. A shame that they couldn't all be there to celebrate but they'll have enjoyed it regardless. It has been a tough couple of years for that group but they've soldiered on and got their rewards today. Fitting to that david power was the man to lead that team. I doubted we'd ever get back to a semi final but that's for another day!
Well done boys. Very proud tipp man today.

I know a lot of Tipperary football people who have shed tears today. There are guys all over the county working so hard for Tipperary footballers. And it's been going on for years.

Since 2016, I think dublin have made them all,
Kerry, Mayo, tyrone and tipp are the only one ms to make more than one - I think! Which is an amazing statistic if I'm correct

On a side note I've been making the point for years regarding the provincial cship. Tipp and Cavan would have literally nothing to play for and would lack motivation for the cship if you get rid of it - as it would be the same for most other teams.

Problem with this is the Leinster counties are screwed - stuck with Dublin. I think Dublin will be a force forever more. Maybe time to split them into 4 council areas. The have over 1.3million. 6 Leinster counties have less than 100k

Congratulations to Tipp. Super performance.
Great timing and historic victory.
Mayo will hold no fear for Tipp and if the same energy and persistence is applied ,well , who knows.

A super super day for Tipp football. Fully deserved for a team knocking on the door for so long. Some class footballers like Sweeney Wuinlivan Ó Riordan Ó Brien. A fab achievement for a county that specialise in hurling. Lack of funding and making big sacrifices. I don't think too many other teams could do a feat like that under the circumstances. Congrats again. Heroic.
