What bunch of nonsense. How are Kilkenny doing in last 20 years and 50 before that ?"
You mentioned Kilkenny and then came to an abrupt halt, I assumed you were talking about football when you referred to Dublin, I'm sure you have noticed things have changed considerably in the last 20 years, never mind 70 !"]So Dublin have the shelf packed with hurling trophies because of Croke Park and all their resources. It is funny that these things only surface when teams are successful. Now we have complaints about the support J.P. is giving to Limerick.
I could not care if Croke Park was out on Achill Island and Mayo got to play their games there. I am proud of our National stadium. You really think Kilkenny won't win anymore All-Ireland if others have more money and resources than them ? Like I started, it is a contributing factor but there is more to success.

You're wrong there, because they never surfaced when Kerry and Kilkenny were beating everyone around them, and I wonder why !

On one hand you are advising counties to follow Dublin's template while in the same breath you are pointing to their empty hurling trophy cabinet .

I think you're getting your small ball mixed up with your big ball, as you're all over the place to be honest.

I would also make the point that the sponsors of Kilkenny are also a huge organisation.

quoting multiple peoples posts at one time like greengrass and several others have done in recent posts looks terrible.

the boldening of peoples posts being quoted by me isnt great but looks far better than that mess.

Seems the Anti GAA crowd were losing it over the 40,000 attending the All-Ireland Field. Shame they were so vocal in opposing the number as it will stop any talk of increasing the Football attendance.

Fact is that RTE and the other even worse channel are full of presenters who hate GAA, along with lots of other things associated with the country.

Let us never forget that one of them ran a poll to try and get the championships called off last year. Another one spent hours attacking clubs and their supporters over county finals.

Apart from games, I neither watch nor contribute to either.

Barney you'll get these boys with their rugby heads on, they're on another forum comparing long frees to rugby kicks, like a wee soft rugby ball and a field the size of your front garden. The only skilled player on a rugby field is the kicker.

KillingFields when you first brought up this subject of changing and updating the forum I didn't agree with you simply because I didn't see any reason to, but now I do agree it badly needs modifying and updating, all in one reams of multiple and lengthily posts in bold format is a bit much.
