Points difference. Kerry have the far better chance of topping the group.

There was two of the inside the square when the ball was played AND he caught it then threw it. So correct decision

Replying To GeniusGerry:  "Yes all the analysis seems to take Donegals injuries in to account but no mention that Kerry are missing both first choice midfielders one of whom was colossal last week, a former POTY, and Peter who would be their leader at the back if he was available.

What a game that was. A battle right to the end. Murphy and McHugh were absolutely unstoppable for Donegal and caused so much damage. I think Kerry will benefit from this game enormously. Well done to both teams.

What a game we have in store in Castlebar in two weeks time now, it's going to be a belter. Kerry should be better than Meath and just need to keep focused. I think talk of who might face Dublin is premature, it would not be a shock to anyone if Tyrone beat them."
I for one would be very shocked if Tyrone beat Dublin.

Well done to both teams, they put on a great show. I think both management teams will be happy with the character shown by their olayers. A draw was a fair result I thought. I must admit I wasnt too confident when I saw our starting team minus Neil McGee and Paddy McGrath.

Murphy and Ryan McHugh were collosal again. Paul Geaney was excellent and as as per usual Stephen O'Brien put in another top class display. O'Brien is an absolute nightmare to mark. I was impressed with Kerry today, thought they looked dodgy against Cork but the past 2 weekends they have been excellent.

This is turning into a good group. Shame for Meath, played well again today but nothing to show for it.

Brilliant game well done both sides, had all the intensity and feel of a straight knockout. Draw a fair result, sets the final games in two weeks up nicely. Hope injuries from all 3 teams still involved can clear up give whoever meets Dublin the best chance (nothing personal Dublin! )

Yeah I thought ref signalled squarevball which it was, but Waynol is right it was like a basketball shot.

If it was a knockout game I'd agree with you but there is absolutely nothing riding on the result. If Dublin treat it as a run out for the extended panel they could easily be caught in Omagh.

Is the square ball not a thing of the past now from open play?
He def threw it into the net thats why ref didn't allow it

If Carlsberg did Gaelic football matches - they'd do that one!

Great credit due to both the Donegal and Kerry squads as they were stretched to the absolute max today. What a contest! Great game of football played by both teams who were a credit to the game. Hope we meet in September!

Really enjoyable game reminded me of Kerry Galway in the rain un 2008.
I thought the ref was poor some very soft frees on both sides.
The amount of off the ball fouling on OShea and Clifford was staggering.
The updates on Shane Lowrys performance was a nice touch.
Great day for Shane and Offaly.

Christ No! The amount of times I hear that on the field from players and supporters is unreal. Time for press release from the GAA on this (or maybe a # will do the trick better)

They will 100% give the subs and panel members game time against Tyrone. First or second makes no difference now you get either Kerry Mayo or Donegal so topping the group really means nothing now. He played his second team against Roscommon so no doubt he'll do the exact same in two weeks time.
