GREAT WORK - with the start of Ferry Fit coming soon, the Ferry Fit Committee organised to cut back the hedges and tidy the footpaths around the Chapel Turn. This was a brilliant idea, leading the way in the community and making the place safer. The schools also start back this week, making this footpath accessible and easy to use. Well done to all who helped. Thank you.

COUNTY TEAMS - well done to all our young players who represented their county on Saturday. Well done to Ciara Doran, Eimear McCarthy and Roisin Murray who were part of the Down U14 team that won the Ulster Shield. Fantastic achievement. Congrats to Conor Mageean, Sean Mageean and Noah Rogers who won the All-Ireland C Shield. Keep up the great work girls and boys.

U8 CAMOGIE - the girls were in Liatroim at a blitz on Saturday and did brilliantly. Keep up the great work, players and coaches. It was also the first time the girls wore their New Jerseys. Big thanks to Captain Jacks for sponsoring the new shirts. They look great.

GOLF CLASSIC - was a great day, thanks to all the organisers, players and sponsors. Your help is much appreciated. CAMPA PORT AN PHEIRE - was another great success this year, well done to all the girls and boys. Massive thank you to our young coaches who gave up their time and helped coach the younger generation. Big thank you to our guest coaches, your time, efforts, drills and coaching are all much appreciated. If our young players learn 1 new thing each, it will all be worth it. To all those who made the Camp happen and helped out in any capacity, thank you. Special thanks to Juvenile Chairperson, Karol Keating, who organised and sorted all the coaches and the gift bags from Peninsula Sports.
