Brendan Griffin will referee next Saturday’s Tailteann Cup final at Croke Park.
The Kerry native will be the man in the middle as Down and Laois clash for the title, with throw-in scheduled for 3pm at headquarters.
The GAA also confirmed yesterday that Meath’s David Gough will referee the All-Ireland SFC semi-final between Armagh and Kerry on the same day (5.30pm), while Brendan Cawley of Kildare will take the whistle for the meeting of Donegal and Galway in the other semi-final the following day (4pm).
