Senior Camogie and Hurling Presentation - took place on Saturday night, thanks to players, management, committee and supporters for a great turn out. Thanks to Fr Mulholland and Sean Og McAteer who presented trophies and medals. Thanks to Jim Mullan for taking photos, these will follow. Camogie Winners - Most Promising player: Cliodhna Coleman. Players Player of the Year: Mary Jo Coleman. This was the first year that this award was the Martin Coleman Trophy. Thanks to the family for this and it's great that Mary Jo is the first name on the trophy. Hurling Winners- 3rds Players Player of the Year Joe Kelly. 2nds Players Player of the Year: Darragh Mallon, Managers Player of the Year: Paddy McNally. Juvenile Presentation - took place on Friday night, thanks to players, parents and supporters for a great turn out. Thanks to Ronan McCarthy who was MC for the night. A big thank you to our Club President, Fr Mulholland, who said some kind words to our players and coaches, stating that you make our club so special. Thanks to Fr Mulholland who presented trophies and medals along with Maria McNally, Matthew Conlan, Philly Byers and Sean Young. Our Scor Group provided some great entertainment, well done girls and thank you. Also to Maria, Matthew, Robyn OPrey and Connor OPrey for taking part in a question and answer piece. Thanks to Liam McVeigh for taking photos, these will follow. Special mention to U14 Camogie coach Johnny McGrattan, who was present tonight and looking very well. Congratulations - to Niamh Mallon on winning a Special Merit Award at the Ulster GAA Presidents Awards for her outstanding performance for Ulster in the Inter-provincial Championship and being awarded the Player of the Tournament Award.
Ports Strictly Come Dancing - is on 29th and 30th January 2016. Training is going well. Tickets will go on sale on Sunday 10th January in the Park, they will go fast, so get in quick to avoid disappointment.
Scor na Sinsir - the Club are looking for anyone interested in the adult version in February. There are different categories such as singing, group and solo, set dancing and a quiz team amongst them. Anyone interested can contact a member of the Cultural Committee: Kathy McGrattan, Connor Braniff, Jim Mullan and Mary Jo Mallon. It would be great to see adult participation and there are a lot of talented people in the club capable of taking part. Thanks in advance
