There are four teams left in the race for the Hogan Cup (All-Ireland Colleges SF 'A' Championship).

St Brendan's, Killarney, St Mary's, Magherafelt and St Jarlath's College, Tuam joined Leinster kingpins Naas CBS in the All-Ireland semi-finals at the weekend.

William Shine scored 0-9 as St Brendan's dethroned Tralee CBS with a 0-17 to 0-12 victory in Saturday's Corn Uí Mhuirí final. The win handed The Sem a 23rd provincial title, seven more than their Kerry rivals.

Up in the Athletic Grounds, St Mary's claimed their second MacRory Cup in five years at Holy Trinity College, Cookstown's expense. First half goals from Niall O'Donnell and Cahir Quinn paved the way for a 2-9 to 0-8 win.

And the famous St Jarlath's College bridged a 10-year gap when they defeated St Colman's, Claremorris by 3-6 to 0-9 at Tuam Stadium to be crowned Connacht champions for a remarkable 49th time.

The All-Ireland semi-final pairings are Naas CBS v St Jarlath's, Tuam and St Brendan's, Killarney v St Mary's, Magherafelt, with both games taking place on the weekend of February 26/27.
