Newcastle West are on the lookout for a new senior football manager after Liam Keane stepped down after just one season in charge.
Keane took over from Jimmy Lee who guided the club to a three-in-a-row of Limerick SFC titles between 2021 and '23. However, their quest for a four-in-a-row was ended by Adare at the semi-final stage this year.
Meanwhile, the Fr Casey's GAA pitch in nearby Abbeyfeale was under water on Saturday after Storm Bert caused the River Feale to burst its banks. Abbeyfeale Utd's soccer pitch was also flooded.
