Tyrone's Conn Kilpatrick is available for today's All-Ireland SFC preliminary quarter-final clash with Roscommon (5pm) after successfully appealing his two-match ban to the Central Hearings Committee (CHC) last night.

The midfielder was handed the initial suspension after being sent off on a straight red card against Cork last weekend, which was doubled due to the red card he received against Roscommon in the Allianz League earlier this season.

The Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) had issued the ban under Rule 7.2 (b), Category III, T.O. 2024. That rule category relates to "striking with hand, with minimal force".

On Wednesday, the CHC had found that the infraction was proven and it meant Kilpatrick stood suspended for this weekend’s knock-out clash with the Rossies in Omagh.

However, after taking up the option to appeal, the Red Hands star was cleared by the CHC on Friday night.
