Wexford manager Keith Rossier says there’s “no hard feelings” between himself and Dublin counterparts Niall O'Ceallacháin at the end of yesterday evening’s Allianz Hurling League clash at Croke Park.
Chris Crummey’s late pointed snatched a 4-19 to 3-22 draw against the Slaneysiders at headquarters, where things got heated on the sideline between the two managers towards the finish.
Speaking to RTE Sport afterwards, Rossiter played down the flare-up towards the finish of the game which saw his side dropping their first point in Division 1B.
"Myself and Niall on the sideline. I think the two of us got excited," said the Model County boss.
"We both used to hurl, we're both passionate about our counties. It didn't spill over, there was nothing about it.
"A couple of words exchanged, which is grand. We're well used to that, there's no problem.
"We both said we'll see each other in May. And we'll see each other in May. There's no hard feelings.
"We've all been there. We've all done stuff and pulled the odd little bad stroke on a field where you wouldn't be happy with yourself but you still have to shake hands at the end of the day and it's something very similar on the sideline."
O'Ceallachain also commented on the incident, saying: "Myself and Keith? Grand. It means a lot to him, it means a lot to me.
"It was the sharp end of it there, trying to win a big game. We shook hands afterwards. That's absolutely no issue."
