TG4 will broadcast live coverage of this afternoon’s Allianz Football League encounter between Tyrone and Kerry in Pomeroy (throw-in 1.45pm).
The Irish language broadcaster had originally been set to show the crunch Division 1A hurling clash between Kilkenny and Limerick, but the game was called off this morning as a result of a pitch inspection which deemed UMPC Nowlan Park unplayable.
It means that TG4’s cameras are heading north for the showdown between the Red Hands and the Munster champions at Plunkett Park, where both teams are in sore need of a win after each losing two of their three outings in Division 1 so far.
The game is set to be followed by the scheduled coverage of Galway versus Donegal, which throws in at 3.45pm at Pearse Stadium, Salthill.
Due to the postponement of today's Allianz Hurling League Division 1A match between @KilkennyCLG and @LimerickCLG, @SportTG4 will now broadcast live coverage of the Allianz Football League Division 1 meeting of @TyroneGAALive and @Kerry_Official. #AllianzLeagues #GAABelong
