Cork duo Padraig Power and Conor Lehane are each set for a spell on the sidelines after being forced off with injuries in last night’s crunch Allianz Hurling League encounter against Limerick.

The game, which finished 1-16 apiece thanks to Darragh Fitzgibbon’s late free, was played in wet and windy conditions at Pairc Ui Chaoimh and saw Rebels full-forward Power withdrawn after 16 minutes while Lehane lasted just minute into his introduction as a substitute in the closing minutes.

Speaking to EchoLive.ie afterwards, Cork boss Pat Ryan explained that both players suffered dislocated shoulders.

“I think he (Power]) probably dislocated his shoulder, himself and Conor Lehane,” he stated.

“There were really tough conditions there, like, you know, really wet conditions. So there was a lot of fellas slipping and falling. But I think, look, I think it kind of popped in kind of handy enough.

“I'd say he's going to be out for four to six weeks anyway, that kind of way.”
