The draw for the All-Ireland senior football championship semi-finals is set to take place on The Sunday Game Live following Armagh’s clash with Kerry.
All four All-Ireland quarter-finals are down for decision at Croke Park this weekend, with Monaghan and Donegal meeting tomorrow (4pm) at HQ before Tyrone face Dublin (6.15pm).
On Sunday, Meath play Padraic Joyce’s Galway (1.45pm) prior to the showdown of the All-Ireland champions and the Munster champions (4pm) in the capital, with the draw following the latter game.
It has been confirmed that the semi-final draw will be structured so as to avoid all repeat pairings from this year’s championship.
For example, should both sides progress this weekend, Dublin could not play Meath as both teams already met in the Leinster SFC semi-finals, while other potential repeat pairings that cannot happen are Armagh v Tyrone or Armagh v Galway, with the latter two having already played in the All-Ireland group stage.
