David Clifford bagged a sorely needed goal for Kerry in the run up to half-time in this afternoon’s Allianz Football League clash against Tyrone in Pomeroy.
The visitors made a decent start before Malachy O’Rourke’s side hit their purple patch to move towards a 0-11 to 0-5 lead, with ace attacker Darragh Canavan coming off the bench for them.
This goal from Clifford in the 33rd minute (watch it below) marks the Fossa clubman’s first of the 2025 season (and 30th in 76 appearances for his county), as the Kingdom went in trailing by three at half-time.
