The Electric Ireland 2026 GAA Minor Star Football Team and Player of the Year have been announced.

Cork ended a seven-year wait for All-Ireland minor football honours after a dramatic victory over defending champions Tyrone in the final at St Conleth's Park, Newbridge.

Trailing by 1-13 to 0-7 with 39 minutes played, Cork produced a remarkable comeback, scoring an unanswered 1-5. Eoghan Ahern's goal proved decisive as the Rebels secured their first title since 2019.

The Rebels lead the Team of the Year with seven selections, while runners-up Tyrone have six representatives. Semi-finalists and Leinster champions Kildare complete the selection with two players.

Cork captain Joe Miskella has been named the 2026 Minor Star Football Player of the Year. The Ballincollig clubman was a key figure throughout Cork's successful campaign and kicked two crucial two-pointers in the All-Ireland final.
