Ó Sé praise for Mayo namesake

Tomás Ó Sé cannot understand why Aidan O’Shea receives so much ‘abuse’.

The towering forward has been subjected to much online criticism down through the years, but continues to excel at the highest level and was ‘outstanding’ in Mayo’s All-Ireland SFC Round 3 draw with Dublin last Sunday according to his Kerry namesake.

"You'd have to take your hat off to Aidan O'Shea,” Ó Sé said on The Sunday Game.

"Ninety times togging out for Mayo and the abuse he gets, I thought he was outstanding today, he set up players, he was on the ball, he was a nuisance to Dublin."
