Galway panel for Connacht Hurling League announced

Galway junior manager Declan Molloy has named his squad for the upcoming Connacht Hurling League.

The 31-man panel features players from six clubs - Tuam, Ballinasloe, Salthill-Knocknacarra, Bearna Na Forbacha, Skehana, Mountbellew-Moylough, and Micheál Breathnach.

The Tribesmen will begin the defence of their title against either New York or Leitrim in the University of Galway Connacht GAA Air Dome – which is hosting all Connacht football and hurling pre-season games – on Thursday, January 4 at 7pm.

The panel is as follows: Peter Higgins, Tommy Reilly, Hugh McDonagh, Reece Ryan, Ryan Cooke (all Tuam Stars), Conor Coleman, Cian Connolly, Craig Potter, Cathal O’Hanlon, Evan Hayes (all Ballinasloe), Brian Hyland, Fergus Hanney, Keith Gleeson, Seanie Joyce, Shane Kelly (all Salthill-Knocknacarra), Donal Folan, Ryan O’Toole, Thomas Halliday, Ryan Folan, Charlie Friel (all Bearna na Forbacha), Bryan Horgan, Dara Newell, Micheál Lyons, Ger Flahive (all Mountbellew-Moylough), Macdara Ó Bearra, Breandán Ó Conghaile, Cathal Ó Tuathail, Sean Ó Conghaile and Adrian Ó Tuatháil (all Micheál Breathnach).
