The 1972 All-Ireland SHC Final at Croke Park saw 1970 winners Cork taking on 1971 runners-up Kilkenny, in a twelfth Championship decider between the two counties.

8.30pm: Cork v Galway, 1973 All-Ireland SFC final

The 1973 All-Ireland SFC decider featured Cork, looking for their first title since 1945, against Galway - in what is still the highest scoring All-Ireland Football Final in history.

The 1977 All-Ireland SHC Final was a repeat of the previous year's decider, as one of the all-time great Cork sides took on Wexford, who had last win the title in 1968.

The 1986 All-Ireland SHC Final pitted Cork, with Jimmy Barry-Murphy playing in his last game for The Rebels, against Galway who were in their second Croke Park decider in a row.
