Replying To WEXILE:  "Any white smoke regarding changing the day of our game v Clare. The longer it goes on the less confident I'd be in a change, it doesn't have to be a double header. What's their obsession with double header for 1/4 finals"
Remains Saturday according to John Fogarty of the Irish Examiner

Wexford's motion has been defeated. Hurling on Saturday. Football on Sunday.

Typical.. Wexford were never ever going to get a fair hearing with regards to this outrageous scheduling farce...

Replying To TomWex:  "Exactly and why the nees to change the day of the football.. what's that got to do with anything"
It's sticking to Saturday for 1/4 finals.
Meeting was held tonight and while majority voted to switch to Sunday it failed to get a necessary 60% majority. Not sure where it will be played but probably terrible Thurles.

It's just been confirmed…the GAA won't budge. Match still on Saturday in Thurles.

Confirmed Saturday. Interesting though they didn't confirm times. Hopefully they might put it on later to give fans some hope. That's me just thinking that, not hearing otherwise btw.

They've confirmed it for Thurles tho on Sunday. The game is up for changing the fixture. Maybe they could at least give us a late throw in like 7 o clock so.some people could go to it..sickened over it

GAA headquarters have just stuck 2 fingers up at the Wexford hurling community.

Don't know what sort of reaction I'll get to this but it's just a suggestion, if the feile is only being played over one day this year would it not be worth trying to push it to the Sunday now?

We should cancel the Feile.. awful Shame to punish kids but this can't be allowed to pass. It's not the first time we've been shafted like this. If it was Tipp or cork it would be moved.

They're shooting themselves in the foot anyway. Put is I'm croke park on Sunday alongside Cork and you'll nearly fill it.

Replying To foreveryoung:  "Congratulations on the win. Best of luck against Clare. Ye have the ammo to get the job done. I hope that Chin is able to play because take him out yesterday and there wouldn't be too much at all between Laois and Wexford."
I dunno, take him out and Wexford still out-scored Laois by 0-19 to 0-07 from play

And if Leinster had won their rugby yesterday the issue would never have arose, as Croke Park was booked for rugby next Saturday.
