Replying To farneygael3:  "Curious if Scotstown do be laughing at training how they can't be beat. So many to come back and other teams at peak performance and still can't get over them."
In fairness given their vast resources and dip into the transfer market, it will be a humiliation if scotstown don't win the championship…

Replying To Monaghansclown:  "Yes; they do own it and fair play to them for renting it to Killanny and Truagh the last two years, will be very interesting to see who they will brick it against this year. Only a few weeks to go now before there annual collapse on the big day."
Surely bottling it the last 2 years will have made the stronger for this year. I can't see them being beaten.

They are well good enough beat harps as there is absolutely nothing between the 2 teams.

They wont win the championship and will be lucky to get into a league semi Wednesday night

Carrick own the intermediate championship simple"
Carrick will bottle it. Its what they do

Big win for us in the minor championship last night. There's a great crop of players coming through there that we'll be hearing about on the big stage before long

super achievement from a great club. A few more lads for the county team in 10 years hopefully. A few Cremartin lads involved too. Fair play to all

That's Carrickmacross-Corduff winning U10 All Ireland last year and Clontibret winning it this year.
Hopefully this bodes well for the future of Monaghan football.

Replying To ScarnaMan1990:  "Yes all the experts thought different not too sure why Blaney (the most successful club in Monaghan history) is getting overlooked to be honest made a show of harps in the league and done the same today? Although I had got influenced by some of the experts in my prediction"
Because results 25years ago have zero bearing on today, going by that logic Man united won the league last year not finished 15th.

Blaney won the league game by a point in the middle of a storm missing 4 starters so hardly made a show of

Best wishes to Darren on his retirement. A real warrior in the Monaghan jersey. Very unlucky not to have picked up an All Star. Many days his work on the field went unseen, while others received the plaudits. Also a true gentleman off the field, generous with his time to the young fans.

It was Clontibret community games area...there were players from Cremartin and Doohamlet as well, not just Clontibret. Not too many kids will ever win an all-Ireland of any sort, delighted for them all.

He is one of the players that I will show to the younger generation. Didn't need any plaudits although he got many. A servant and legend to the county of Monaghan and his presence in around the middle has been and will be missed.

Of all the poor comments on here you pick people praising a Monaghan U10 team winning an All Ireland to whinge about.
More like who cares about your comment.
