Replying To MonGaa123:  "Drumhowhan playing at 2 oclock and Scotstown at 5 today.
I predict an easy win for scotstown. Too much experience and class for Erne Gaels.

This drumhown team has impressed me this year and will continue on their brilliant run today. They could be battling with scotstown in next 2 years for senior championships if they continue on the trajectory they are on."
Drumhowan Battling with the united parish's in the next 2 years for the senior championship, I take it your having a laugh?! Drumhowan will do very well to stay up in intermediate next year IMO…

United Parishes 9 up after 16 minutes. As I've said Fermanagh football is SHOCKING. of course there was tough circumstances in their club the past 2 weeks. Hope management make chances before half time to rest them for Kilcoo

Not a hope even the Ulster is a foregone conclusion. It's all Ireland or bust now

I was wrong with my prediction of drumhowan winning today in ulster but I still think they have a promising future. They overcame some strong teams in junior like eire Og, Toome and even Aghabog. No reason why they can't improve on that and make it to the senior ranks in the next two years.

Sure look they are still in the competition .. 17 teams left .. they are 3rd favourites. Whoever wins Ulster will win it. 2 great games to look forward to next weekend .. I don't think they will be looking beyond Saturday night

The level of childish behavior on this page at the moment is turning people off the forum.

People used to have decent debates, but now we have a child constantly having a go at Scotstown-or at least I hope it's a child, because no self-respecting adult should carry on like that.

He made his point weeks ago about Scotstown having a big pick, and now he's like the children in Clones at the county semi-final, banging on the wheelie bins.

I'd imagine everyone is fed up with it, including myself, and I'm not even from Scotstown.

I hope Scotstown can win Ulster; it would be great for them after so many near misses over the years.

Fair play to Scotstown for utilising their pick and achieving success, which definitely can't be said about the three main towns that are all playing at intermediate again.

Imagine the potential of the county team if the three main towns were getting the best out of their numbers.

Your judging them on winning the Monaghan junior championship in what was the weakest junior in 20 odd years….if Eire og had any belief they would have won the final….

Should be be finally the year, the thoughts of yet another embarrassing failure will no doubt drive this group on…

Surprised you say that as when you played kilcoo last year you were very fortunate to win the game, kilcoo made 2 massive errors which is very unlike them in the last few minutes to hand you the win.

not saying you won't beat them but foregone conclusion is a massive statement, personally think kilcoo will prevail by 2.

Name me one team left that's good enough to beat them, either provincially or nationally. They might not have won an Ulster but they are the most seasoned in any of the provinces.

Clann Éireann, Erigal Ciaran, Kilcoo, Dr Crokes, St. Brigids, Cuala and maybe even St. Loman's would all fancy themselves against the United Parishes. Or to put it another way, none of those teams would be afraid of them.

Actually couldn't have put it better myself. Don't get me wrong, scotstown aren't a bad outfit. They might win ulster but they definitely won't win an all ireland. They will find it hard to get past kilcoo

Apologies, I meant Padraig Pearses. They have about 6 or 7 Roscommon panellists. I was impressed with them against Corofin. Certainly wouldn't go into any game with fear

Agree that this forum has being reduced to juvenile bickering recently. Time was posters might even have the guts to make a prediction based on something tangible other than begrudgery.
I think Scotstown will be hard to beat for anyone remaining in the competition and I hope they win it out, failing that hopefully whoever wins Uster wins it out, I Like the look of EC
The bookies have it a 4 horse race. Cula, Crokes, Pearses and whoever wins Uster, but as someone else hinted at here don't write of St Lomans who are have good momentum at the moment, I think they are slightly over priced IMO

Would ya stop!! "Strong" and "aghabog, Eire og, Toome" should never EVER be in the same sentence. Same case as every year, majority of the teams that go up to intermediate go straight back down the next year, or the year after. And telling me they'll be senior? Do me a favour.

i think talking about scotstown as favourites for ulster and even entertaining the idea of an all ireland is dangerous territory. Scotstown have been capable of winning ulster now for 10 years but cant seem to do it. i hope they do win ulster this year and if they do then they'll have a crack at the other bit but baby steps lads. kilcoo the first obstacle. Hopefully the lads are fresh after their training game at the weekend.
