Not saying I can predict the future but i think I made a good attempt at it.

kilcormac killoughy are a very strong team and will only get better in the coming years, practically becoming a super club in offaly nearly comparable to ballygunner in waterford, winning most of the adult grades and will look to dominate further in the future.
youd think when you beat a kk club that you were on your way to winning a leinster especcially years ago but kilcormac and probably a very strong na fianna stand in the way. i hope ctg keep their feet on the ground after today and drive on.

How was it not a shock to many? Thomastown beat the All Ireland club runners up by nine points in county final, they also beat Ballyhale Shamrocks, Castletown or any Westmeath club side have never beaten a Kilkenny club team in the Leinster championship

Great result.

All you lads needed was a Carlow half back to get the standards up.

I hear he's hurling well."
Hes a huge addition a Carlow rock in the middle of our madness which Castletown are the prime example.Castletown have always had so much talent which even they will admit has often not realized its potential.Today it all came together.Hopefully now the belief will flow and they can realize it.The Carlow common sense is hugely important.

Kilcormac will be favouries and rightfully so.They have played several Leinster finals winning one.CTG are a fine side not dependant on any one individual so will have every chance so we should have a great game

Castletown scoring 1-27 in the county final and 1-25 yesterday shows their firepower, even in this time of year. It hasn't been mentioned but Castletowns corner backs David Maloney and Peter Murphy both only 19/20 years old put in two great performances coming out with plenty of ball throughout the game.

Huge win for CTG. Great for Westmeath hurling Is there a better player in the county than Niall O brien he would start on most county teams. Forwards like O reilly were excellent throuout but I thought the full back line was the key to winning they gave Thomastown nothing peter murphy slotted in there seamlessly with mckenna gone aaron glennon and maloney have been so solid all year. Kilcormac are a strong outift but being in cusack again will work to CTG favor and hopefully another famous day.

Also worth mentioning they were without the services of Naoise McKenna, Plunkett Maxwell, David Lynch and Conor Kane, who are all abroad

Great win for ctg a real balance to the team not totally dependent on o brien.. but if o briens on form give him the ball .. o Reilly a great target man just needs couple years to fill out and power pass defenders then .. the defence is solid and ctg play a lovely short passing game around the middle to get out of trouble and make space...CTG back in cusacks field will help a lot v kilcormac.. pretty tight game forecasted and kilcormac will try rough ctg up .. stick Maloney on Adam screeeny and get in his face.. also ctg missing 4 starters from last year gone travelling. Castletown abu !

Will any of them come home for 2/3 weeks? Great chance at a Leinster Championship!!! Any of them would make a great impact off the bench if needed

Never be afraid of one player, while screeny is exceptional he can be contained. As was said 1-27 and 1-25 is not to be sniffed at. You'd three players contribute 3 points each yesterday as well as O Briens total. Once you've forwards that can also keep a board ticking over you've always got a chance. Thomastown were at plenty of roughing up yesterday look where it got them. Feet on the ground and stick to the game plan theyve as good a chance as any to win Leinster now. Only thing that was a bit perplexing was Thomastowns short puck outs were still an issue up to the end. Close them down or cuter teams will ate ya with them.

Screeney will take watching but Castletown have plenty of quality in defence, Maloney is a tigerish and sticky defender and probably suited to mark Screeney you'd have to say but Morgan Gavigan held David Williams scoreless in the county final and then held John Donnelly to just the one point from play yesterday also.
I doubt Kilcormac are overly looking forward to facing Niall O'Brien and David O'Reilly either. It'll be a very close game, most likely could come down to a puck of a ball in the end. Hopefully CTG can get over the line.

Nobody will underestimate CTG after yesterday they're on the radar now.

Most definitely a shock to everyone outside Castletown camp. Their last game in Leinster 2 years ago was a 25 point loss to the Kilkenny champs. Its an incredible turnaround of fortunes. Ironically Castletown got their colours from Kilkenny. Did the Bolgers or Traceys come from there? Cant remember the story now but Hurling was brought to Castletown in the early 1900s by Kilkenny folk.

Brilliant result for Castletown Geo yesterday. Next day? Had Thomastown won by 11 points yesterday they would be favourites to beat Offaly's KK in the semifinal. So it's all to play for and a repeat performance by CTG next day could easily see them through.
It has happened before remember the exploits of Mount Leinster Rangers in 2013 (I think) when they won the Leinster in what was their first year I believe competing in the revised Leinster Senior Championship.
Go on CTG and believe but above all give a repeat performance and above all LEAVE EVERYTHING on the pitch next day.
