Good luck to the seniors in the first round no bother to them to win this match, the young minors obviously are very talented and will learn from the slow second half performance as the great Hugh Kenny won't be happy with that close finish. As I said before the 20s we're doomed to fail no trials and to many players from junior clubs.

Replying To Bowl:  "Of course they are capable of playing great football. For all the doom and gloom, they are still playing good football at times. It's the inconsistency that's hurting them. Even in one match they can go from good to bad.

Of all the teams I saw them play against in the league, Carlow looked the most superior to them. I know they only lost by 3 points, but they should have lost by a lot more."
I agree with you that the scoreline against carlow flattered us but equally that game proves Carlow aren't good themselves at killing off teams. As a team I think Wicklow are a better footballing team than Longford; a team Carlow struggled to beat in the division four final. Carlow were promoted ahead of us but their form in the league dipped in the latter stages. My fear is Wicklow's loss of concentration - they go out of games for periods. If the team PLAY for the full seventy minutes they can win this game but will they do so?
