What a bizarre post. Think you need a lie down in a cold room.

Jesus, the standard of football of the Donegal ladies has ended up in the toilet. StockholmGael (Donegal) - Posts: 143 - 19/05/2024 16:37:48 2545601 Link 0 |

Both games could be classed as a surprise at the weekend. In a sense that, the minors were expected to win and the ladies wernt given a prayer given how well Armagh ladies have done this year. Fair play to them for giving it their all. The minors as far as I know go into the tier 2 competition now along with the other beaten provincial finalists. Not where they wanted to be I'm sure but they should re group and give it a good rattle. peiledoir20 (Donegal) - Posts: 1202 - 20/05/2024 15:01:28 2545888 Link 0 |
Donegal have lost a lot of talented players , especially scoring forwards in the last year or two. They are a team in transition. Armagh would be regarded as contenders for semi finals and beyond. Hope Aimee Mackin's injury isn't too serious, excellent in league final.

How do we see the big game going on Saturday evening? I have to admit I'm very wary of it. I think we'll see a repeat of the Ulster semi final game where Tyrone will play in a low block and trust that they'll be able to get enough scores to beat us. Tyrone relish being written off and seen as underdogs, and you just know they'd absolutley love nothing better than to sicken us at home. The two Munster teams have an advantage fixture wise with a two week break between their games.Donegal and Tyrone will have to go again the following week,Donegal having to make the long journey to Cork with the home team having an extra week to prepare could prove to be a difficult assignment.

Yeah that's true. Cork have some good footballers and if they get their tails up, it could be a tricky game surely.

Agreed. Not the easy group many would have you believe. Tyrone is difficult and Cork down in Cork with an extra week of rest over is tricky. Just ask Mayo!

If Meyler , Harte and Burns are back this weekend it will be close. If they aren't, I'd expect a six point win. Gallan will be hard to stop in his home pitch. TheRock2121 (Donegal) - Posts: 1208 - 21/05/2024 16:39:30 2546217 Link 0 |
I think it will be tight even without those players back for Tyrone, Gallen should play well hopefully on his home pitch, I'd agree this group is a lot tougher than people think, we have to come down from the high of winning Ulster and start again in another competition. Jim is best man we could have in charge to have the team in the right frame of mind, win this game and we will be favs to win the group. I make this a 50/50 game, home advantage for us outweighed by Tyrone coming in as slight underdogs and more rested than us and aiming for revenge so it has all the ingredients of a brilliant contest. I think we will hopefully shade it by a point or two. Tirchonaill1 (Donegal) - Posts: 3196 - 21/05/2024 18:52:49 2546232 Link 0 |
can we not fast forward to the last 7 mins of the game where it will be a draw and where a bit of excitement begins. leave the other 63 mins of awful football in the past. be better all round The_Fridge (Tyrone) - Posts: 2093 - 22/05/2024 15:36:20 2546429 Link 1 |
We will know now who to go to for reliable info about Cork in the future.

I hope Gallen isn't injured! He seemed to limp off in the ulster final. Hopefully just cramp.
