Replying To Loughallenbanks:  "I think poacher is doing is not showing his hand for the down game. We don't need the likes of tom prior and barry mc nulty against down as I think we will beat them easily enough. The observer has them down as injured by I think it's just mind games from poacher."
You are sadly wrong poster. Tom Has long term leg injury & season may be over. Barry chipped an ankle bone from foul by Galway player but could recover for Carlow game while Cillian McGloin is also doubtful. Poacher reported to be gutted- just when things were looking up on the injury front.

We can survive any injuries due to the depth of the panel, just get through that Carlow game unscathed even if it's a loss and then get going for the qualifiers, was watching the games yesterday with some very shrewd Leitrim football men and we all agree there is nothing to fear in the qualifiers and no team will want to get us.

Should have said "very skewed Leitrim men " lol. Love to all. By the way I was down Carla way on Saturday evening. They are training like mad men. Be warned you man. Love to all.

Carlow are an honest team but won't cause big teams any problems. After the unexpected loss to Down I expect full focus to be on this ahead of the qualifiers. Carrick will be jammers at the weekend, 10,000-12000 expected of a home crowd, similar to what went to Newry.

What's this gimmick you are playing, post the very opposite of the reality?

Unfortunate timing, would be looking for something from the Carlow game but losing key players to injuries is not what we need.
Nonsense suggesting changing the manager when we started getting performances together, can harp on about promotion to division 3 (pure luck) and beating louth about 10 years ago (they'd stuff us as badly as Down did if we played them now) but getting a win in connacht bar London or NY is a once a decade thing for us so that's progress, until we can retain our best players to actually play for 5 or 10 years we are going to tip around division 4 with the occasional stint in division 3. New managers every year or 2 working off inexperienced panels will never achieve anything

Tipping around in div 3 or 4 is our level. Are you suggesting we'd be div 1 if we had the same panel for five years?

When he said "Poacher reported to be gutted", he meant it was reported that he was devastated by the news, not that he was going to be torn out of the management setup like copper pipes out of an abandoned house.
