Think Galway do have better players than Mayo at the moment. Back in 2012-2017 it was the other way around. I really hope that Galway are genuine All Ireland contenders and that last Sunday wasn't a case of Roscommon making them look better than they are. Most Roscommon supporters would be of the view that our team are poor at present and are going backwards under current management.

But Jazus he'd want to hurry up sometimes or he'll surely be booked, all he's missing sometimes is lighting up a pipe an havin a few puffs before he kicks it

Galway to win by biggest margin even in a final maybe more than 20 points.

Galway U20 team for the Shield final tonight against Leitrim is basically a 2nd string side. No Ross Coen,Costello,Monaghan etc even named on the bench does that mean they are done with the U20s and all with the senior panel now?

Replying To togoutlads:  "There's no arrogance in Galway football, certainly not from any genuine supporters that know their football. We've, as always, great respect for the strength of Mayo football and will be preparing accordingly, that's for sure. This will be a battle in Castlebar. These Galway lads are around a while for the most part and didn't come down in the last shower of rain, and are under no illusions otherwise. They'll know what's coming with the green and red and they'll be primed for a great battle. Either team can beat the other on their day. Now who wants it more? We'll see. Should be a great game."
Good one. Great respect for Armagh being the better team in last years All Ireland too.
Should be a close game between 2 of the chasing pack.

Costello was on bench Sunday cant imagine the others would be with seniors.

McGlinchey was in stand with extended panel.

Prob just giving everyone a run

Who is 3rd choice goalie for seniors this year

That is some disaster to lose that. I don't remember too many worse seasons in recent years.

Disappointing season considering the success of this age group at minor. Questions have to be asked about overlooking the minor winning manager to parachute in former county players with limited managerial experience. I know this was the route PJ took to get senior role but he took a couple of yrs to find his feet, make mistakes, learn, adapt etc. We can do better. Savo should have done minors first which would have helped build his experience that way.
