It would be pure robbery. And no logical or fair reason for it.

Do they just end the league as it is or how does it work? Yeah liverpool won the league fair enough but the rest of the league is far from over

Not sure why a GAA site has descended into talking about association footballs but i think it is important we see some form of football or hurling come back this year for morale, so it will most likely be club championship which is more than perfect. In fact i think games should start in June behind closed doors with the latter stages open to some form of attendance

Stop this conversation here now and find appropriate forum for it. This is a GAA forum. End of!

Conversations sometimes stray and it was done as a comparison to see what others are doing. Of course sports would boost morale but safety comes first obviously.

It's all revelant. Professional soccer leagues cancelled footballi until October yet you think Club football in Gaa can start in June. Who's going to test all these players? How long will they isolate for, bearing in some work

Do you think they will finish the premier league as it is? :)

He must have a charmed life if that's all that bothered him. Someone teach him to scroll past something that he's not interested in. I hope there's no one quarantined with that lad. The GAA can look at other leagues just like one shop can get ideas off of another shop, etc.

Who cares ?

If I'm watching GAA, I'm watching GAA.

If I'm watching soccer, I can read the paper as well.

Unfortunately i think we will have to make our peace with no ball this year. Our players mean too much to put them at risk. The talk of one or the other starting (ie club or county) is nonsense. Do our local club players have natural immunity or something. We will be back bigger and better next year.

As for this soccer talk, how to god can they delcare a champion when the team at the top havent won enough points to win it? Shambolic if so. If you are just aloud to blow matches or competitions up early because the leader is way ahead, some of offalys greatest victories would never he come to pass. Stranger things have happenwd.

You're NOT allowed to blow matches or competitions up early in any sport however this was out of everyones hands. The lead was 99% insurmountable. When have Offaly been in a situation like this? It's different if there was some sort of a final or semi-final, etc to be played but it was a League format with a ridiculous lead from the first place team to the second place team.

I think it just would end as it ended. 4th place team is the 4th place team, etc.
