The 2025 list of nominees also includes nine players who captured TG4 All-Star Awards in 2024, namely Galway quartet Kate Geraghty (team captain in 2025), Nicola Ward (2024 TG4 Senior Players’ Player of the Year Award Winner), Ailbhe Davoren and Olivia Divilly, Kerry trio Aishling O’Connell, Anna Galvin and Danielle O’Leary, Armagh’s Lauren McConville and Cork’s Katie Quirke.
The other Kerry players nominated are goalkeeper Mary Ellen Bolger, defenders Eilís Lynch and Aoife Dillane, and free-scoring forward Síofra O’Shea.
Also earning nominations from Galway are Hannah Noone in defence and midfielder Louise Ward, both club-mates from AIB All-Ireland Senior Club Champions, Kilkerrin-Clonberne.
Waterford’s impressive 2025 campaign has been acknowledged with three All-Star nominees, namely captain Emma Murray at midfield, and forward pair Bríd McMaugh and Lauren McGregor.
From Armagh, McConville is joined on the list of nominees by long-serving midfielder Caroline O’Hanlon, while Cork have forward star Quirke and defender Melissa Duggan nominated.
The list is completed by Kildare defender and captain Laoise Lenehan, Mayo attacker Sinéad Walsh, and Tipperary forward Aishling Moloney.
On the 2025 TG4 All-Star team, one goalkeeper will be chosen from the shortlist of three, with three players selected from each of the full-back, half-back, half-forward and full-forward lines, along with two midfielders from the six nominated.
The 2025 TG4 All-Star team will be announced at a gala banquet at The Bonnington Dublin Hotel on Saturday, November 15th.
The 2025 TG4 Junior, Intermediate and Senior Players’ Player of the Year Award winners will also be revealed on the night, while the 2025 inductee into the Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA) Hall of Fame will be acknowledged.
