Wouldn't it be something else if Curraha were to make the semis!

Replying To Talking_Sense:  "Simonstown were on an entirely different level to Na Fianna. It was men against boys and you were stuffed by almost 20 points. Na Fianna might give Summerhill a run for it as its a local Derby but for me Simonstown and Kells are the two form teams and I expect them to possibly make up the County Final pairing."
Fully agree. Simonstown & Gael Colmcilles best teams at present. IMO the winners come from either of them. But Summerhill or Na Fianna may ruffle a few feathers. It's on the day.

ATM I can see a Simonstown - Cilles Final
Cilles have been the most consistent team in the county for last few years
Simonstown are timing their run well and have strength and experience
Curragha could be dark horses but their squad depth could be their undoing

Simonstown v Dunshaughlin - Simonstown could be anything. Could be + 5 or +10 if they improve again and made light work of Na Fianna and Dunboyne in last 2 outings. Dunshaughlin are improving but this match will tell them where they are at for sure

Gaeil Colmcille v Curraha beat Curraha by 3 or 4, be tighter than folk think if Curraha can stop Kells goals. Curraha have some good players. Kells seriously hot up front but when teams keep it tight at the back their games are tight and they can ship scores, only beat Dunshaughlin by 1 point , lost to a poor O'Mahonys team conceeding 1-11 V 0-11 and shipped 1-10 and 2-11 to St Pats and Seneschalstown respectively. They are hot up front no question but they are not great at midfield and/or at the back. So Curraha could be real tricky tie as McEntee at midfield is playing great

Summerhill v Na Fianna . Na Fianna need goals to stay with Summerhill and need to stop the goals at the the other end. Cant see it albeit its a local Derby and Na Fianna wont fear Summerhill. But even if Na Fianna can do both, its Summerhill still by 3 or 4

Ratoath v Skyrne - Scrin to win by couple of points. Still cant see past Skryne even though they are playing poor

Simonstown v Dunshaughlin - Simonstown to bully Dunshaughlin and win by 5
Gaeil Colmcille v Curraha or Donaghmore-Ashbourne - Cilles will beat the pick of Ashbourne and Curraha , win by 5 for the kells men
Summerhill v Na Fianna - A typical Local Derby but Enfield aren't as strong as they were in previous years - Hill by 4
Ratoath v Skyrne - Ratoath haven't gotten by quarter final stages yet and this will continue , Tara men are a different proposition in the knockout stages and will physically dominate the smaller Ratoath team and pip them by 2

Simonstown v Dunshaughlin - Simonstown

Gaeil Colmcille v Curraha or Donaghmore-Ashbourne - I felt Gaeil Colmcille would beat either of the other 2 - but I have changed my mind. I think Curraha will come through here!

Summerhill v Na Fianna - Experience and a decent outfit to see Summerhill through!

Ratoath v Skyrne - Ratoath have lost one game this year - by a point to Summerhill. It sounds like they have a few lads back! I think they will win this by a few!!

I have seen Simonstown, Dunshaughlin, Gaiel Colmcille, Curraha, Skyrne, na Fianna and Ratoath in championship this year - to me Simonstown are a fair bit ahead of the others! I saw Curraha play both Dunboyne and Na Fianna and thought they were unlucky in both - but they are better since those games!!

Simonstown , Gael Colmcille, Na Fianna & Ratoath to make semis

Simonstown will have too much firepower for Dunsahughlin and very strong Midfield pairing in Kilcullen & Conlon

Gael Colmcilles are a harderned team now with Mattimoe & Beano to Pull the stringds

Na Fianna are better now with Devine , Walsh & Queeneys all back

Ratoath will have too much overall for Skyrne with Mcmahon the key

Simonstown v Dunshaughlin - Simonstown after a battle I reckon

Gaeil Colmcille v Curraha/DonAsh - I fancy Curraha to topple Don/Ash and they could give Kells a right rattle, they age playing with great abandon and posting good scores but I'll nod to Kells to get to a semi final.

Summerhill v Na Fianna - Summerhill should have too much here but again could be a right battle, Summerhill by 3-4 points

Ratoath v Skyrne - Interesting game here Skyrne are somewhat fortunate to be in a quarter final but now that they are they could be a different animal, Ratoath have fallen at the quarter final stage in the last two years when fancied to advance so nothing will be taken for granted here, Ratoath should prevail and I think they will, McMahon is in great form and with a few experienced heads returning their squad has more depth, but they need to be careful as Skryne are one team I would never write off.

Why is there no update on the St Pats v Tones game.On the Meath GAA the score was Pats 1-18 to the Tones 2-2,it was wishful thinking for St Pats as the score was the other way round.

Where were you looking for updates?

Neither club ever tweets updates but Meath GAA were tweeting them regularly.
