Minor Football Championship groups

Unbearable tension in the closing stages of the very exciting MFL Division Division 5 final between Drumconrath Meath Hill and Slane at Pairc Tailteann. Expect more of the same next Monday.
After the excitement of the league finals at Pairc Tailteann the groups for the Minor Football Championship have been announced.
Division 1 League winners St. Colmcilles get their campaign up and running away to Summerhill, beaten finalists Dunboyne make the trip to the newly reopened Coogan Park Martry. Division 2 league winners Trim have home comforts against Donaghmore Ashbourne.
Fresh from their Division 3 FL final win over Ratoath, St. Michaels Nobber travel to Athboy in the opening round of Division 2.
The game of the opening round in Division 3 has to be the clash of Division 4 FL winners Oldcastle and Gaeil Colmcille at Grangegodden. The Kells outfit won the MFT Group D competition earlier in the year.
Division 5 winners Drumconrath Meath Hill entertain Seneschalstown in Drumconrath in Group A of Division 4.
All first round games are fixed for Monday (August 11th) with a 6.45pm throw-in.
Round 2 will be played on both Tuesday August 19th and Thursday August 21st with the fixtures having been moved to accomodate U16 players lining out for Meath in the Gerry Reilly Cup final on Sunday 17 August.
