Richie Donnelly opened Kilmessan's account and a Scott Bagnall goal put them 1-12 to 1-1 in front at the break. With Kevin O'Reilly leading the way Kilmessan added another eight points to trheir tally in the second half and get their championship campaign off to a winning start.
