Clare’s Brian Lohan was named Manager of the Year at last night’s Munster GAA awards function in the Fota Island Resort, Cork.
It crowns a sensational year for the legendary full back who guided the Banner to an Allianz League and All-Ireland SHC double. The Senior Hurler of the Year is Limerick goalkeeper Nickie Quaid, who is set to miss the 2025 campaign after sustaining an ACL injury last month.
Kerry’s Tom O’Sullivan won the Senior Footballer of the Year accolade, while the Club of the Year award went to newly-crowned Munster senior hurling champions Sarsfields. Other award winners include Ciara Murphy (Ladies Footballer of the Year) and Darragh McCarthy (Under 20 Hurler of the Year).
