Mayo GAA has postponed its county convention 'due to circumstances outside our control'.

Originally scheduled for Sunday week, December 8, the annual gathering will now take place instead on Wednesday, December 18 at 7pm in the Great National Hotel, Ballina.

The reasoning behind the postponement is expected to be revealed at a county board meeting tonight.
