Armagh footballer Niall Grimley and Clare hurling stalwart John Conlon are among this year's Gaelic Writers' Association award winners.
Along with Kerry's Louise Ní Mhuircheartaigh and Cork's Hannah Looney, they scooped the Personality of the Year awards in their respective codes.
Grimley helped Armagh to lift the Sam Maguire, just over a year after his brother Patrick, his sister-in-law Ciera and close friend Ciara McElvanna died in a car accident. He also battled back from a broken neck sustained in 2022 to reach Gaelic football's summit.
Conlon, at the age of 35, was a key figure in Clare's first All-Ireland SHC triumph in a decade, while Ní Mhuircheartaigh and Looney were to the fore in Kerry and Cork's All-Ireland ladies football and camogie successes respectively.
Meanwhile, journalist Sean McGoldrick received the Lifetime Achievement award, while David Hickey (Dublin), Tom Dempsey (Wexford), Kitty Ryan Savage (Tipperary) and Ciara Gaynor (Tipperary) were inducted into the GWA Hall of Fame.
