Cork manager Pat Ryan has named Brian Hayes in his attack for Sunday’s Allianz Hurling League Division 1A final against Tipperary at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
It was thought that the St Finbarr’s clubman would miss the decider against Tipp after suffering a knee injury in the Rebels’ win over Galway two weeks’ ago.
However, Ryan has selected him in the full-forward line where Alan Connolly has also been named after coming off the bench to score against the Tribesmen last time out.
Elsewhere, Eoin Downey, Cormac O’Brien and Diarmuid Healy come into the Leesiders’ starting line-up, with Damien Cahalane, Mark Coleman, Brian Roche and Declan Dalton the players that drop to the bench.
Throw-in at Pairc Ui Chaoimh is at 4pm.
