Tyrone and Donegal will contest next Wednesday's Ulster U20FC final in Owenbeg after accounting for Derry and Cavan respectively last night.

All-Ireland champions Tyrone edged out Derry by 3-12 to 0-19 in Owenbeg, while Donegal - who enjoyed an eight-point victory over the Red Hands in the group stage - eased to a 4-19 to 2-7 win over Cavan in the other semi-final at Ballybofey.

Trailing by 0-8 to 0-9 at the break, Tyrone made the perfect start to the second half when Conan Devlin netted. Conor O'Neill and Eoin McElholm added further majors to secure a hard-earned win.

Three first half goals from Conor McCahill, Seanan Carr (penalty) and Cian McMenamin propelled Donegal to a comfortable victory over Cavan.

The hosts led by 3-9 to 1-2 at the interval and raised a fourth green flag through substitute Dylan Mulholland two minutes from time.

Meanwhile, Roscommon have set up a Connacht U20FC final showdown with Mayo in Tuam Stadium next Wednesday evening after goals from Rory Carthy, Eoin Collins, John McGuinness and Conor Grogan helped them to a thrilling 4-12 to 1-18 victory over Sligo at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence in Bekan.

The Leinster final between Meath and Louth and the Munster decider between Kerry and Cork also take place next week as the U20FC reaches its business end.
