With Dublin not featuring on All-Ireland football final day for the first time since 2014, its Airport has been making a case for which team to support in this year's renewal...

Known for their sense of humour on Twitter, Dublin Airport tweeted its interest ahead of the All-Ireland final clash between Mayo and Tyrone at Croke Park this evening.

They appeared to be siding with Mayo because of their close connections with Ireland West Airport in Knock, citing the fact that Tyrone "doesn’t have an airport and its key piece of transport infrastructure - the Ballygawley roundabout - isn’t on Twitter."

The Dublin Airport twitter account added: "There is a Tyrone Airport in a place called Bailey, Michigan - but that’s not really the same.

"Obviously, we love all 32 counties equally. And New York and London also in a @officialgaa context."
