London will play USGAA in tomorrow afternoon’s All-Ireland junior football championship final after both sides came through their respective semi-finals in Abbotstown on Friday.

Having lost the 2024 and 2025 All-Ireland JFC deciders to New York, London were able to gain some sweet revenge over their fellow Exiles with a hard-earned 0-15 to 0-13 win (after extra time) yesterday evening.

After having let a five-point lead slip in the closing six minutes to New York, Paul Coggins’s men mounted a surge in the added periods which saw points by Conor Redican, Noel Maher, Sean Hickey, Luke Morahan and Shaun McCready get them over the line into another final

The earlier semi-final at the Abbotstown Centre of Excellence also required extra time as USGAA defeated Warwickshire on a 2-13 to 1-11 scoreline.

After leading by 0-6 to 0-4 lead at half-time, USGAA hit the net with a Michael Kerr goal six minutes into the restart before the Warwickshire response would seeing them hitting 1-4 unanswered, including a Michael McGettrick goal.

Warwickshire would look to hold on to a two-point advantage until the hooter, but an Eoin Gormley effort from beyond the arc forced extra time and the Aidan McAnespie's clubman would go on to fire in the crucial goal late in the second period to ensure it was USGAA that advanced.

It means that Brian Kennedy's side will now face London in tomorrow’s All-Ireland JFC final at Croke Park (1.45pm), where TG4 will be streaming the game live on YouTube for viewers, ahead of the senior semi-final between Kerry and Dublin which throws in at 4pm at headquarters.
