The knockout ties in the Offaly SFC have been confirmed.

Edenderry’s 2-18 to 1-10 victory over Ballycommon on Saturday saw them join an already-qualified Tullamore in the SFC semi-finals. The quarter-final pairings are Rhode v Bracknagh and Shamrocks v Ferbane.

Rhode’s group campaign ended in very unsatisfactory circumstances when they were handed a walkover by Durrow, while three-in-a-row Tullamore will have learned little from their 5-27 to 1-5 drubbing of Clonbullogue who are fortunate that there is no relegation this year to allow for an expanded Dowling Cup in 2026.

Shamrocks bounced back from their heavy penultimate round defeat to Tullamore with a 4-18 to 2-11 mauling of Bracknagh. Runners-up for the last two years, Ferbane had already completed their group matches and were safely through.

In last evening’s IFC draw, St Brigid’s were pitted against Ferbane and Tullamore drew Raheen. The JFC semi-final pairings are Rhode v Erin Rovers and Clodiagh Gaels v Doon.

The SFC ‘B’ group stages aren’t yet completed, with Clara the only team assured of a semi-final spot at this stage.
