Christy Walsh has reprised his role as Kilkenny junior football manager.
The Kerry native’s appointment was rubber stamped at a county board meeting this week. He previously led the Cats to an All-Ireland JFC title over a decade ago and will be looking to repeat the feat this year. The last two All-Ireland JFC titles have been won by New York.
“At this evening’s County Board Meeting in UPMC Nowlan Park, Christy Walsh was ratified as Kilkenny Junior Football Manager for the 2025 season with JJ Grace as coach and Paddy McConigley, Andy O’Brien and Brian Sheeran as selectors,” a Kilkenny GAA statement on Monday night read.
“Kilkenny GAA wishes Christy and his team the very best for the season ahead!”
